Latest

SN 1LV2032RTFH117700. Ran great all day. Next day, when placing it in gear or engaging the PTO, it shuts off. In neutral with the parking brake on, you can run the rear PTO with the switch bypassed or not bypassed. Engaging the PTO without the brake on results in a shut down. Jumped the seat switch and verified 12v on the red wire and present on the orange wire after the jumper installed. Still shuts off when placed in gear. Where do the orange and red wires run from the seat switch so I can verify they are good at the other end? Any ideas on where to go from here?

Maybe this will help. I know they are labeled 1026R, but the manual covers all One Series through 2016 — electrical components locations, neutral safety switch, and the full electrical schematics.

How do 1-Series diagrams help with a 2-Series machine?

In short, the red wire provides 12v to the seat switch. The orange wire is the output side of the seat switch and feeds the 12v signal directly to the A1 control module (aka the "brains" of the 2032R). On your particular model, this symptom is almost always the transmission selector switch not detecting that the transmission is in neutral.
